Stay on Campus for EKU Summer

Did you know that you can live on campus for EKU Summer? You can have fun in the sun and still earn credits conveniently at your own pace! Summer courses are a great way to catch up or get ahead of your workload.

You can enjoy being surrounded by a community of other students and faculty that care about you on campus. Create a schedule that works best for you while getting the most out of your courses AND summer!

Don’t take it from us! Take it from Dwayne Johnson, an aviation major, who took the opportunity to do flight training while being a Resident Assistant (RA) during EKU Summer in 2021.

He said, “My favorite part of being at EKU last summer was making new friends with my RA staff. I even made friends with some of the residents in the dorms. They were great people. They were always fun to be around. Just being with people, it was a nice change of pace.”

EKU’s Housing and Residence Life keeps campus interesting by ensuring students have activities and events to elevate campus life.

“Being on campus over the summer was really great. The communities of students were really close. Housing and Residence Life holds community builder events to bring students out to meet with one another and build bonds. It works really well,” Dwayne said.

Not only is campus life lively, but EKU also offers microscholarships to help students cover the cost of their summer courses! Complete the application quickly and easily online. Answer a few questions, then hit submit!

Browse available summer courses by checking out summer.eku.edu. Students can add courses up until late May for the first summer sessions.

Summer housing will be available from May 22 through August 12, 2022. Find more information about Summer housing here. Join fellow Colonels, and enjoy the Campus Beautiful over the summer!
